Sports Report

25.03.24 Brannel Football Tournament

Today, our football team from year 5 and 6 represented the school in a 5-a-side indoor football tournament. We played against Bugle and Nanpean. There were new rules for our players to learn and they adapted very well to them! With ease our team started to use the wall to our advantage to pass to either themselves or teammates. For indoor games, a lot of pressure comes on to the goalkeepers which Blake stepped up and did exceptionally well. Some amazing saves were made along with some quick decision making which helped our team create space and get towards the opposition's goal. Jude and Archie together scored 14 goals, with Jude scoring a phenomenal 11 out of those! Kerris and Marco did a great job in defending and made it extremely hard for the other teams to get passed us. Alfie showed a great ability of creating space and being available for those easy passes. Ethan came on to the pitch in defence, however he saw multiple times where the strikers needed help and he was great back up for these players. With three wins and one draw, I am very pleased to say that we won and brought another trophy (shield) to display at school! Player of the tournament goes to Jude, who did a great job of not only scoring goals, but also for showing great teamwork, positivity and courage. Well done everyone!

18.03.24 Football match Vs Bugle

Our year 5 and 6 students battled it out at Bugle today in a football match. Despite the weather, they all worked really hard to try and score goals. They produced so many opportunities and we managed to score 3 goals in total!

Throughout the game, we saw great teamwork with them all working on their communication to help move up the pitch with the ball easier. Our player of the match was Kerris, she showed dominance in defence, communicated to the team effectively helping them further as well as showing great skill and determination to get the ball off of the opposition.

Great job guys, you all did really well!

14.03.24 Cross Country @ Brannel

Despite the rain and lots of mud, our across country runners showed amazing determination today at Brannel School.

This year’s course was much harder than last, with not only running around the outside of the football pitch, but also running through the school grounds the back again over the finish line! We are so proud of every child that took part today with every one of them pushing through and finishing this hard course.

We finished -

1st overall in the year 3/4 girls race

1st overall in the year 5 boys race

1st overall in the year 6 boys race and 2nd in the girls year 6 race.

08.03.24 Snell Cup Football and Netball

This morning, students from Year 5 and 6 represented St. Dennis in the Snell Cup.

There has been a lot of excitement in the build up to this tournament and it was great to see our children showing our core values whilst at Brannel.

Everyone played extremely well, with some amazing goals scored by Archie, Alfie M and Jude in football and Blake in goal only conceding 2 goals in the whole tournament, There were some fantastic goals  scored by Ellie and Ezmae in netball.

We are delighted to announce that our football team won all of their games, putting them in first place and receiving the Snell Cup trophy! Our netball team also battled it out in the wind, winning 4 out of 5 games which put us in 2nd place!

A huge congratulations to all of the students for working together as a team and for bringing back such amazing results!

We are very proud of you all!

29.02.2024 Indoor Athletics - Schools Games Qualifier

What a great afternoon!

Yesterday we were invited over to Brannel school to take place in the athletics qualifiers and with this week's school value being Team work this was a great opportunity for some of our children to show off this value.

Our team competed in 8 different activities, including long jump, an obstacle race and bean bag throw to name a few.

Each team member had 3 turns at each activity to get their highest score and that score then went through to give each child an overall score with Scarlett smashing the long jump, Marco flying in the rocket throw and Isla balancing on a beam on one foot for over 2 minutes!

All of our children showed great team work and even though the scores were counted as individuals the support they had for each other showed exactly what our school is all about.

A big congratulations to Jude from Year 5 for getting the highest score out of our team and St Dennis came in 3rd overall! Well done!

A big thank you to Brannel for the opportunity allowing us to take part in what was a great afternoon!

06.02.24 Netball vs Nanpean

Unfortunately, our netball team lost their game against Nanpean. Despite a loss, we have learned a lot from this game! Everyone has started to work well together as a team, and I can see the confidence growing in each player.  Our positioning on the court gradually improved throughout the game as well as trying to make sure our passes went to our teammates. Today saw Tyler make his debut in our netball team and he scored us a brilliant point. Our player of the match today is Eloise, who showed great confidence as our GK. She managed to intercept the ball multiple times and made some great decisions throughout the game that helped us to travel further up the court. It was great to see everyone working really hard working together, let's keep it going!

06.07.23 Sports Day 2023

The weather was kind to us for Sports Day 2023 and all the children were excited to take part.  All the school's values of aspiration, courage, teamwork, responsibility, friendship and achievement were on display in abundance.

A huge thank you to our Year 6's who showed so much maturity and responsibility by helping out and supporting our younger children.

Well done to every child who took part! It was very close but congratulations to St Petroc's (Green) who were the winning house!

30.06.23 The Snell Cup at Brannel

Some of our pupils competed in this years Snell Cup at Brannel in Football and Netball and represented our School amazingly.

The boys football team had an enjoyable morning winning 3 of their 4 matches and finishing in overall 2nd place in the tournament!

Alfie W, Archie, Blake, Jack W, Jude, Mason, Theo and Zac all played tremendously well with fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship. The great defensive pairings and hard work of Alfie W, Theo, Jack W & Mason meant the team only conceded 4 goals throughout the whole tournament and helped Blake keep a well-deserved clean sheet.

Jude, Theo, Zac and Archie all got on the score sheet with a total of 10 goals between them!

Our netball team also had a very successful morning finishing overall 2nd place in the tournament.

Well done to Layla A, Holly BG, Ellie, Wendy, Kerris, Lily and Macey who all performed amazingly.

22.06.2023 TPAT Games at Par Running Track

Lowarn Class took part in the first ever TPAT Games at Par Track!

They all had a fantastic time and were lucky enough to be coached through each session by DT Coaching. They had the opportunity to take part in relay racing, vortex throwing, dodgeball, handball and long jump, they all showed great team spirit and gave each session their all.

Alyssa, Isla, Harper and Alfie W from Year 6 also made great play leaders throughout the day, guiding and encouraging all schools through the games.

Well done to all that attended!

14.06.23 Cricket Tournament Roche Cricket Club

Several of our children competed in a cricket tournament held at Roche Cricket Club.

A total of four schools competed with two teams from each school. We played a round robin so all teams played each other. The top three teams went into the finals and St Dennis came third out of eight.

They all showed great team work and loved being coached by some of the Brannel Sports Leaders.

All the children behaved impeccably and had a wonderful time!

Brannel Athletics 22.05.23

Some of our pupils attended an athletics competition at Brannel.

Girls' Football Matches 24.03.23

Today we hosted Roche and Nanpean in girls' football. All of our girls played superbly, keeping their positions, making excellent tackles and passes and creating plenty of goal scoring opportunities. As always, our school values were on display with teamwork and friendship at the forefront.

The girls were unbeaten in their games drawing 1-1 with Roche and 0-0 with Nanpean.  This was the first match experience for many of our girls and we look forward to a repeat of the fixtures after Easter.

Thank you to the spectators who came along to support the team.

A fun afternoon had by all!

Football Tournament at Brannel 07.03.23

On Tuesday afternoon, some of our children represented the school in an indoor football tournament at Brannel.

In a closely fought and well contested competition, Bugle ran out as overall winners but our team performed admirably. All of our children displayed some brilliant skills, a terrific workrate and most importantly great sportsmanship towards each other and the opposition. We also had some excellent individual performances with Jude, just missing out on top goalscorer by 1 goal after scoring 6 himself and Kaiden who was awarded with the golden glove award after being nominated top goalkeeper.

Results :

St. Dennis 1 v 3 Roche

St. Dennis 3 v 4 Bugle

St. Dennis 2 v 1 Nanpean

Final standings :

1. Bugle 9 points

2. Roche 4

3. St. Dennis 3

4. Nanpean 0

Team: Kaiden, Mason, Blake, Jack W, Macey and Jude.

Clay Country League Fixture 27.02.23

On Tuesday afternoon, our football and netball teams made their way to Roche to play Clay Country League fixtures.

In the football match, we found ourselves up against a very good attacking team who won the match 6 - 1. However, our team battled very hard during the game and were unfortunate not to score a few more goals themselves. Kaiden played well and was unlucky not to score after having 3 good attempts on goal producing fine saves. Jude was combative in midfield and also created many chances for others and himself. Blake also had a great game performing a series of excellent saves and Archie finished superbly for our goal.

Team: Blake, Ethan H, Jack W, Mason, Macey, Jude, Archie and Kaiden S.

Our netball team were superb in all elements of the game as they ran out 6 - 2 winners in their match. All of our girls were excellent as they displayed brilliant defending and marking skills blended with great passing and fast movement off the ball. The goals were shared between Wendy 3, Sianna 2 and Lily 1.

Team : Sianna, Lily, Layla A, Wendy, Kerris and Ellie.

Thank you to the large number of parents, grandparents and carers who came along to support our teams.

Brannel Football Tournament 23.01.23

On Monday afternoon, some of our boys and girls represented the school in a football tournament at Brannel. Our opponents were Whitemoor and Nanpean who we played twice resulting in one win, two draws and a loss.

It was a very close competition in which we just missed out on top spot by a single point!

Team: Kaiden S, Wendy, Macey, Mason, Jack W, Blake, Mia W, Alfie H, Archie and Jude.

Girls Football Match 24.11.22

Following on from The Lionesses' success at Euro 22, our school has received a lot of interest from girls wanting to play football. On Fridays, our after school club attracts around 20 girls every week! All the girls have progressed very well since September learning lots of new skills.

On Thursday afternoon, they got to showcase their skills as we hosted Charlestown School. It was a first match experience for the large majority of the girls and they all performed admirably. The teamwork was superb as they displayed great passing, shooting and defending skills.

Charlestown narrowly won the match 3 - 2 but a very enjoyable time was had by all!

A huge thank you to the large number of parents, grandparents and carers that came along to support the team.

Team : Sianna, Alyssa, Layla A, Macey, Lily, Wendy, Isla, Laceymae, Zoe-Ann, Lilliana, Kerris, Mia, Tori-Lea, Olivia, Ellie, Isabelle and Lois.

Week beginning 19.09.2022 London Mini Marathon

This week, 57 of our children took part in the London Mini Marathon!

With wellbeing as one of curriculum drivers, we feel that regular exercise has a positive impact on children’s physical health and mental wellbeing so were delighted at how many children took part!

They all had a bib number and were awarded participation certificates in our celebration assembly on Friday.

05.07.2022 Sports Day 2022

Sports Day 2022 was a resounding success for St Dennis Academy! The weather was beautiful and all children were excited to take part in a whole day of physical activity!

All the school's values of aspiration, courage, teamwork, responsibility, friendship and achievement were on display in abundance.

In the morning, every class took part in team competitions that involved football dribbling and bean bag throwing. Points were scored and put towards the afternoon's events.

It was an exciting afternoon as children from each year group competed in races such as skipping, the sack race, the 100m sprint and long distance running.

Points were awarded for first, second and third place, with all children enjoying the competitiveness of the races.

Well done to every child who took part and congratulations to St Petroc who were the winning house!

Chance to Shine Cricket Award

During the summer term, Years 3 and 4 took part in Chance to Shine cricket lessons. All children learnt the rules of cricket, improved their teamwork skills and developed their core skills of throwing, catching and bowling.

At the end of the term, there was an achievement celebration assembly and St Dennis were awarded the 'Best School for Term 5'!

Well done to Year 3 and Year 4 for your cricket participation, engagement and achievement!

08.07.22 Staff Vs Year 6 Rounders Match

On Friday afternoon, our children went out onto the field to watch the Year 6 versus staff 'annual rounders match'. A very enjoyable game was played between the two teams and there were good batting and fielding skills on display. However, the superior quality of the staff team shone through as they recorded a convincing 45 - 37 win! 😂

13.05.2022 Rugby

A good number of year 5 / 6 spent an afternoon on the field participating in a rugby tournament. Following on from their recent Cornish Pirates sessions, it was great to see the skills that they had learnt and the children played some excellent matches against each other. The games were fast paced, there were great handling skills and the tactical awareness was also of a good standard.

Put into their teams (Tigers, Dragons, Bears and Falcons), they all performed extremely well and displayed a good sporting attitude towards each other. As always, the children enjoyed that competitive edge and The Dragons ran out as winners.

29.04.22 Key Stage 1 Inter-House Athletics

Last Friday, it was the turn of KS1 to participate in an inter-school event. A large number of children were put into their teams (Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Lightning, The Rockets and The Storm Troopers) and they participated in various athletics events.

The children showcased their skills in a sprint race, a 1 lap race, distance throw, target throw and a team shuttle race.

The Tornadoes ran out as winners in a closely fought competition but most importantly, there were lots of smiling children who had enjoyed an afternoon of sport!

Spring 2 - Cornish Pirates Rugby Sessions

During Spring 2, Years 5 and 6 have been involved in a 6-week programme of high quality and fully inclusive coaching from the Cornish Pirates. Sessions consisted of various 'Game Zone' and 'Skill Zone' activities delivered by Sam Teasdale, who plays for the Pirates and is their Community Engagement Manager.

Years 5 and 6 also learnt about healthy lifestyle choices and character development through Rugby's core values (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship). They were able to link these core values to those of our school (Aspiration, Courage, Achievement, Friendship, Teamwork, Responsibility).

Both year groups loved their rugby sessions and are keen for more next year! Thank you to Sam for being such an engaging, inclusive, helpful and motivating coach to all our pupils!

01.04.2022 FA Schools Competition

Our Y 3 / 4 team travelled to St. Mewan Park, Nanphyssick on Friday to participate in The FA Cornwall Schools competition. Similarly to the girls, our team was involved in some well contested matches. We lost 6 nil to the tournament winners St. Mewan before losing very close games with Charlestown and Bugle.

Team: Blake, Mia, Tyler, Logan, Archie, Theo, Luke and Jude.

As always, it was a pleasure to accompany the children at this event and the event yesterday. They all displayed great determination and were all prepared to work hard for each other as a team but above all, it was great to see smiling faces and the enjoyment of competitive sport.

31.03.22 Cornwall School Games

On Thursday, our girls made their way to Newquay Sports Centre to compete in The Cornwall School Games Spring Finals. They were involved in some very closely fought matches with draws against St. Hilary and Mount Hawke and narrow defeats to Bishop Cornish, Nanpean and Wadebridge. This resulted in us coming 5th in the county overall in the competition.

Team: Poppy, Amelia, Eva, Lainey, Lacey, Macey and Sianna.

24.03.2022 The Snell Cup

Our children made their way to Brannel to participate in The Snell Cup. After an enforced break, it was great to see the resumption of this long running competition and all of the schools involved performed extremely well.

Unfortunately, we were unable to return with the cups as superb St. Stephen teams won both the football and netball. However, we all had a lovely morning in the sunshine and there were lots of happy children who had enjoyed their sporting experience.

18.03.2022 Let Girls Play

On Friday, a good number of our KS2 girls participated in the ‘Let Girls Play’ football afternoon. The girls showcased their passing, dribbling and shooting skills admirably during team games. The main emphasis was on fun and enjoyment but naturally, there was a competitive edge!

Put into their teams (Wildcats, Blue Badgers, Dashing Devils and Flying Squirrels ) they competed in 3 different activities based around the fundamentals of the game.

After a really close competition, the Flying Squirrels just ran out as winners!

15.03.2022 Girls' Football

Unfortunately, our team tasted defeat for the first time on Tuesday as we travelled to Wadebridge to play in The Cornwall FA Schools - round 2. The girls all played very well and fought hard for each other but we came up against a superb, well established team who were a bit too strong. The score line of 6 nil didn't quite reflect how our girls performed though as we created many chances ourselves and on another day, the result could have been much closer.

Team: Poppy J, Amelia  B, Lainey, Eva, Lacey K, Sianna, Macey T, Alyssa and Mia W

11.03.2022 Girls' Football

We made our way to Poltair School to participate in The Cornwall School Games - round 2. Having previously qualified via The Clay Cluster Schools, we found ourselves up against some very good St. Austell schools. However, our girls weren't daunted and produced some excellent performances throughout the tournament. At the end,  we were unbeaten having won 2 and drew 3 of our matches. This was enough to see Nanpean and ourselves qualify for The County Final on Thursday 31st March at Newquay Tretherras.

Results :

Mt. Charles won 2 - 0

St. Mewan 1 - 1

Nanpean 0 - 0

Pondhu 0 - 0

Charlestown won 1 - 0

Team: Poppy J, Amelia B, Lainey, Lacey K, Eva, Macey T, Lilliana and Sianna

04.03.2022 Girls' Football

On Friday lunchtime, our girls' football team hosted Sandy Hill. This was our 4th game of the season and following 3 wins the girls were determined to continue their unbeaten run.

The first half was quite an even affair with both sides creating goal scoring opportunities. The deadlock however, was broken after 10 minutes when Eva found Lacey with a great pass who then hammered home from just inside the area. The visitors responded well and had plenty of possession but any serious attacks were repelled by a strong and resolute defence in Alyssa, Amelia, Isla and Macey.

After the break, our girls increased the tempo closing down the opposition quickly and winning the majority of the loose balls. This resulted in us creating numerous chances. Sianna was excellent in attack and unlucky not to score after hitting the post. Likewise, Poppy and Lainey who also had chances but were thwarted by an excellent goal keeper.

However, the girls did manage to find the net with 2 more goals from Lacey and Eva, who covered nearly every blade of grass, to give us a well deserved 3 nil win and keep up our 100 % record!

Thank you to the parents, carers and grandparents who came along to support our team!

Team: Alyssa, Isla K, Sianna, Macey T, Poppy J,  Amelia B, Eva, Lainey and Lacey K.

01.02.22 - Fencing

Today, Go Active delivered an amazing fencing lesson to Years 5 and 6.

The children learnt the correct fencing terminology and foot placement, along with getting to grips with the protective equipment and foil/sabre!

25.01.2022 - Cross Country and Girls' Football at Brannel

On Tuesday, some of our children represented the school in cross country and girls' football competitions at Brannel.

The runners performed exceptionally well over 1600 and 2000 metre distances and all of our children have progressed to the Mid Cornwall qualifying stage of the Cornwall School Games. Our participants and times were:

Noah R - 11 mins 53 secs

Sianna - 10 mins 14 secs

Mason - 8mins 50 secs

Holly B - 8mins 45 secs

A special mention must go to Holly who was the only year 4 runner, so ran in the year 5 field. She was in the lead until the last 100 or so metres before being overtaken by 2 year 5 boys!

An excellent Nanpean team were our girls opponents in the football and a high quality match ensued. The first 15 minute quarter was an even affair and not much was evident in the way of goal scoring opportunities.  The game came to life in the second period though and Lacey put us ahead with a powerful strike. Great defending from Alyssa, Eva and Amelia coupled with some great saves from Macey preserved our lead and saw us go in at 1 - 0 up at the halfway stage.

Into the third quarter and our opposition quickly equalised through their powerful forward. Soon afterwards, Lainey made a good pass to Poppy who saw her shot unfortunately hit the post. Nanpean's skilful midfielders were now beginning to take charge of the game and despite some excellent goal keeping from Macey, she couldn't prevent them from taking the lead towards the end of the period.

However, our girls have shown in previous games that they are a very good team and their determination and teamwork was at the forefront of their performance during the final fifteen minutes. Our team defended superbly as the opponents produced numerous attacks. Mia was excelling in midfield and with four minutes remaining, she ran well with the ball before finding Lacey who looped the ball over the keeper to equalise. In a frantic end, both teams struck the post before Lacey thumped home a long range effort in the final minute to give us a 3 - 2 win!

Team: Macey, Poppy, Alyssa, Amelia, Eva, Lainey, Mia and Lacey.

17.01.2022 - Rocketball

This week, Go Active delivered rocketball to Reception, Year 1 and Year 3. All children learnt the skills of catching, scooping and throwing, firstly by themselves and then with a partner. Everyone had a fabulous time and now want to use the scoops outside during playtime using their new skills!

10.01.2022 - Street Surfing

Children in Key Stage 2 displayed our core values of courage, teamwork and friendship to help each other out when they had a go at street surfing!

01.12.2021 - Girls' Football Fixture v Mount Charles

On Wednesday, we welcomed Mount Charles School to play in a girls’ football match. The game was played in horrendous conditions and many of our school values were on display, particularly this week's focus of teamwork which was very strongly highlighted!

The girls (including the large number who kept score, supported and cheered from the side) had to endure a strong wind and very heavy rain and hail showers. However, this didn't deter them and they all put in an excellent performance against equally determined opposition.

The match itself was very closely contested with the majority of the game being played in midfield where Faith, Sianna, Isla and Lilliana all won numerous tackles and made some great passes. When Mount Charles did attack, they were neutralised by a combination of superb defending from Macey, Alyssa and Lily and some outstanding goal keeping from Poppy. The first half ended 0 - 0.

In the second half, we had the wind at our backs and the girls took full advantage. After 20 minutes, the ball broke loose in the opposition box and Eva slotted home to give us the lead. Five minutes later, the visitors equalised after a goalmouth scramble. The game seemed to be heading for a draw until Lacey struck a low, right footed finish into the bottom left corner to win us the game 2 - 1.

Thank you very much (and sorry!) to all of those who came along to support our team in such treacherous conditions!

Team: Poppy J, Lily S, Alyssa, Macey T, Eva M, Lilliana, Isla K, Sianna, Lacey K and Faith.

The photo was taken in dry conditions the next day so Lacey isn’t in the photo, but was a great team player!

24.11.2021 - Clay Netball Fixture v Treverbyn

On Tuesday, St Dennis netball team welcomed Treverbyn School for only our second match of the season. We have been learning new skills in our training sessions and were keen to show them in our home match, watched by lots of supporters!

In all four quarters, we were strong in attack and moved the ball around the court quickly. Treverbyn played well and intercepted some passes down the court. We knew we had to mark our opposition players more effectively and were able to do this in the final two quarters. Keeping a calm head, St Dennis netballers achieved a rousing 3 - 1 win.

Congratulations to Katie, Sianna, Amelia, Poppy, Wendy, Eva, Lily, Lacey and Lainey for an inspiring performance!

24.11.2021 - Clay Football Fixture v Treverbyn

On Tuesday, we hosted Treverbyn School in the latest round of Clay Country Fixtures.

The Year 3 / 4 team were first up, but unfortunately we came up against excellent opposition who won the game 3 - 0. Our team put up a great effort though and were very unlucky not to score a goal or two of our own!

Team: Theo, Archie, Jude, Ethan H, Alfie H, Tyler, Mia and  Isabelle.

The Year 5 / 6 match followed and this was a game of two halves! Noah put us 2 - 0 ahead before Lucas G almost made it three, but for a fine save from the visiting keeper. In the second half, Treverbyn fought back to 2 - 2 and in the closing moments snatched a 3 - 2 win!

Team: Kyran, Lucas G, Mason, Noah R, Lucas B, Shane, Declan and Jude.

Thank you very much to everyone who came along to support. That is the end of the fixtures for this year and they will resume on the 11th of January, when we will play Whitemoor away.

16.11.2021 - Girls' Team Match v Charlestown

On Tuesday, we welcomed Charlestown to our school to play in a girl's football match. This was the first ever game that any of our girls had experienced and taking this into consideration, a score line of a 3 - 0 win was an exceptional result. The goals were scored by Lacey (2) and Macey. All of our players displayed great discipline in holding their positions and they all showed excellent tackling and passing skills. The work rate was superb and most importantly, they all played with smiles on their faces!

Team: Lacey, Amelia B, Eva M, Lainey, Poppy J, Macey, Isla K, Sianna and Mia W

As ever, we had many spectators cheering on the team. Thank you for your continued support!

09.11.2021 - Clay Football Fixture v Bugle

On Tuesday, we welcomed Bugle to our school to play in the latest round of Clay Country football fixtures. Two exciting and closely fought games were played out by two very determined teams.

First up was the Y3 / 4 match and this was against good opposition who created lots of opportunities to score. However, many of these were thwarted due to great goal keeping from Theo and some excellent defending from Archie and Blake. Eventually, Bugle did manage to break the deadlock and scored two goals midway through the first half to lead 2 - 0 at the break. After the interval, we managed to create a few chances of our own and Jude was a constant threat when running at their defence. Tyler, Ethan, Logan and Mia all battled extremely hard in midfield and a minute from the end, Luke passed to Jude who went past two or three players before finishing well. Unfortunately, we couldn't quite find an equaliser and the visitors ran out as 2 -1 winners.

Team: Theo, Archie, Luke, Jude, Blake, Tyler, Logan, Ethan H and Mia W.

The second match was equally entertaining. The visitors took the lead almost immediately with a brilliant team goal. Two minutes later, Mason made a great save to preserve our lead before their goal keeper pulled off a superb double save to deny Jude. Shortly after, Jude hit the post and Noah rattled the crossbar from long range. There was then a flurry of goals as Noah scored three in quick succession before Bugle pulled one back. We were slightly fortunate to score another on the stroke of half time through an own goal to make it 4 - 2. After the break, we bombarded the visitors' goal with numerous attempts from Lucas, Jude and Noah, but an inspired performance from their keeper kept them in the game. Slightly against the run of play, Bugle did score to make it 4 - 3 but they couldn't find an equaliser due to some brilliant tackles and blocks from Shane, Declan and Oliver.

Team: Mason, Oliver, Jude, Shane, Declan, Lucas and Noah R.

Thank you to everyone who caame along to support our teams. Our next fixtures are on Tuesday 23rd November when we will host Treverbyn.
